We were greeted by Mariana and Greg, Irie. We shared a couple of pizzas and stories about our journey. We returned to the boat to do some packing, since we were leaving the next day for Boston. Keith and Wayne returned to the marina to play cards with Gayle, Permanently Temporary and Deb, Heavy Metal. We exchanged contact information and friend requests on Facebook.
Wednesday morning came very quickly and we finalized our packing to leave. At 9:35 we were at the marina to meet Gayle to take us into the airport with the dogs as our companions. Dan and Kathy joined for part of the trip as they wanted to go into town and would catch the bus the rest of the way.
We arrive safe and sound to the airport to find out there is a delay in our flight to Atlanta. Delta had to change our flight from ATL to BOS to a later time, since we would miss the connection home.
Back home we go
The clouds were so beautiful, did not think we would get the camera in time
Grabbed a lunch while we waited for our gate to open. Arrived at the gate for the 14:00 flight which was overbooked. When we arrived at the Atlanta airport there were long lines and chaos through passport control and baggage. Keith went to a ticket desk while Wayne stood in TSA line. He was told they rebooked our flight for the following day home. We stayed overnight at Doubletree.
So on Thursday, May 28 we arrived Atlanta International for trip home which was uneventful. We got home and opened the pool, started preparing for our guests as Gilad Hassid (Gili) arrives on Friday, May 29 in Providence and Mark Giard and Neil Smith arrive on Monday, June 1.
We are now back in the USA....
Wayne and Keith
