We landed in Zihuatenajo on time, went through immigration advising we were staying in Mexico for 45 days. Grabbed our 250+ lbs in luggage with provisions, wires, antenna and other items for the boat.
We tried to get a taxi for $150 pesos but ended up at $365 pesos to Muelle Municipal (Municipal Docks). As soon as we emptied the taxi two smiling faces greeted us with giant hugs. We knew we were back home with Dan and Kathy.
Keith and Wayne changed into cooler clothes for this climate. We managed carrying all the luggage to the dinghy. Keith and Dan ran the luggage to Lungta as we would not fit on the dinghy with 7 bags. Kathy and Wayne remained on shore.
While walking around town, after Dan and Keith came back to the beach, we bumped into Leslie from Nirvana and Betsy from Alcyne. We had a great lunch/dinner at a restaurant serving locals for $50 pesos. So nice to be back in Mexico.
Back to the boat, time for "Christmas" Dan and Kathy unpacked the bags with some surprises.
